You are the master of your own life…

A 3 year old child loves to run in the house freely, without any boundations. The mother puts a new Kashmiri carpet in the floor and now the child is told not to run inside the drawing room. Now the child cant run freely , he feels restricted and in few days gets used to this border line created by his mother.

Now even for him, decency is not to spoil the new carpet , even if he has to put hold on his steps. Out of dear and out of force.

All of us are a victim of the same in soo many ways ,this is just a mere example. Since we were born and opened our tiny eyes, we have been accustomed to soo many restrictions like these, with fear and force not with natural instinct.

We are told wht is wrong and what is right. We are not given a chance to decide, as we are small, and as time passes by, we get soo used to all these restrictions, that we give the sam e to our children. Why not we think of giving them freedom of choice and expression. Freedom of being decent in his own way.

Society is hypocrite, those who behave decent are decent?. Hoho! Dats how it works in this world. Those who open there mouth against whts going on are indecent.! What an irony. And we say we live in a place of democracy, where we have the  freedom of speech and expression.

An political leader  who works on women empowerment in front of the people in real beats his wife at home?. Decent in public and indecent at home. But NO we dnt call him indecent as today deceny is all about how you behave among people. Your real face .. never comes up, which is rather far more ugly…

What is good and what is bad? Who has decided it? God? No, it’s us , humans , it’s the society which has decided all this.

Which God says , worship me daily?? Or u go to hell?. Which God says , you drink and fag, you go to hell??. Who has heard him say this? No one.. God never says THIS .. we say all this.. categorizing good and categorizing bad..  as for us .. it would be betterment for the society.

I have seen soo many of my friends who are married, they are restricted to smoke and drink @ home, from there stubborn wife’s , so they smoke and drink@ outside, like a thief. And before going home use all kinds of chlomints and different things, to get rid form the smell.  Fear, a factor, which has it’s shadow on all of us , in some of the other way.

Ffear is the crux of religion. Decent society , we wanna make one. But just from the outer side , what about inside?. To make this society decent, we hold ourself soo many times?, we get soo accustomed of living with that fear, that we cant even decide freely.

How many times do we hear our feelings? . Yeah I know this term looks familiar, instead very familiar. Much talked about these days.

Feelings are of 2 types, natural and fabricated…  Natural is when we react naturally in a free manner . Fabricated is when we have undergone the same situation and in our subconscious mind we remember what had happned last time. SO this time we behave in a better way. This is a fabricated feeling . Most of us can’t judge between which is natural and which is fabricated.

You see a child at a mall ,instantly feel like hugging him, as he is too adorable ,  you really  liked that little fellow , you want to hug him, but you resist, reason last time u pulled a cheek of a little kid , the mother had reprimand  you. So this time you resist it , with all it takes. Now one is the natural feeling which you put a fullstop on as people dnt call it decent. You cant hug your male friends in front of there spouse, as people call it indecent. Before a female gets married , you can be friends , real good friends , but once she is into the marriage trap , you cant expect anything, not even friendship , as for the society it would not be decent. You SOo many restrictions by the society, and society made by us , irony. At times I wonder do we live for ourself or for the society ??.

Listen to your inner feelings , dnt ignore them. They are pure and innocent as a new born. They don’t urge you for doing worst things, but for some of the best moments of life, which you would cherish when that person is far, or would go away, or dies.

Nothing is wrong or nothing is right, our karma are what we decide to chose and we get results accordingly.  Don’t restrict as restrictions in relations would not lead to a more bonded family,or more bonded relation. It would rather fill with a feeling of unexpression. Don’t force to change the person you love and don’t change yourself too for someone. Rather let the person realize it with time. Use emotions and cuddles to change things for the betterment of 2 people. Force might effect in short term, but in longer term it’  would be more like as if someone has imposed sumthing on you, and you just have to follow it , as you have no choice. And like the little child you get accustomed to not going to the drawing room as it is not decent.

Maybe next time you feel like hugging someone , be it a person , be it a pet , be it anyone. Go ahead.  Hugs are one of the most purest form of expression of love, when done with a n honest heart. Most of us miss Hugs  and we don’t even know it.

It’s us who need to decide for ourselves what is good and what is bad, without the fear of what people would say and think. As it is your life and your conscious decisions.

Love life and enjoy the small moments you get, as these are the moments which would help you know urself better  and will help you ease off from the heavy restrictions given by the society.

I would just end by saying “ We are the master of our own life’s”, we must say this to ourself in times when we need to change the direction of our sail. People will always talk , as it’s how it works in this materialistic world, but do what your want, what u feel is right for you. Maybe that decision at times turns to be  wrong for future , but you would atleast be happy that whatever , u atleast head your inner feelings and did what u wanted.

Trust me , one day wen u have money , fame, have fulfilled your responsibility , have fulfilled all your mental and physical needs, you would need emotional support, dats like 2 old people in 70’s or sumthing  walking on a beach holding hands. At that moment you can be with anyone ,be it your wife, be it your old friend, anyone  with whom you  can be youself, without any restrictions, you can talk and share what you want and looking into the eyes of each other , you know that person is surely one of the best one you have met in your life span. As the winds start blowing high. You just come a little closer and remain silent.

revised-chakra-chartMeditation is frequently confused with various forms of concentration. The purpose of concentration exercises is to focus our full undivided attention on a specific aspect of functioning of our mind and/or the body in order to accomplish a certain goal or develop a certain skill. Exercises such as yoga, tai-chi, breathing exercises, visualization are all forms of concentration.

In contrast, meditation is an exercise, aiming to prevent thoughts in a natural way, by deeply relaxing the physical body and then trying to keep the mind completely “blank” with no thoughts whatsoever. This state may be maintained for a few seconds or a few hours, depending on your skill. Purity of the mind achieved during meditation is essential to gain access to Higher Self. It seems that our Higher Self does not admit any impurities

To reach the Higher Self it is best to concentrate on the source of the “inner sound”, leading to the “inner light” – a nucleus of the Higher Self, which initially seems infinitely far “at the other side of a long dark tunnel”. When we get sufficiently close to our Higher Self, the inner light becomes much brighter than the Sun, and when we are allowed to join it, the bliss cannot be described in any human language. To get that far, we have to achieve a complete purity of the mind during meditation, have pure intentions, and then intensively concentrate for some time on the “inner sound” and “inner light”.

The most important role of a spiritual teacher is to show everyone his/her individual way to the Higher Self. Then, it is up to the individual to practice and reach the Higher Self.

From the above, meditation seems to be an essential skill to attain the ultimate enlightenment. There are quite a few techniques for meditation. Most of them use so-called “mantra” composed from a few words or sounds. Mantra is repeated mentally to help us achieve and maintain a “blank” state of mind.

Contrary to popular belief, promoted by people who attract followers and/or charge money to teach meditation, mantra has no sacred “meaning” and no mantra is essentially better than any other. However, regardless of its content, mantra has two important functions, which may greatly assist us in achieving and maintaining a meditative state of a blank mind.

1. mantra is a very simple thought. It becomes very familiar to us when we repeat it in our mind. This thought is used to replace any thought that may come to our mind. Every time a thought comes during meditation, we use mantra to replace it.

2. When we practice meditation regularly using the same mantra (whatever it is), soon we train our mind to associate the mantra with a calm meditative state. This association is called an “anchor” by Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioners. After such self-training, even if we are agitated, a thought of mantra usually brings an immediate calm of the mind. This makes our mantra a very powerful tool to deal with stressful situations in our life, a tool which we can develop ourselves as a result of a regular meditation practice.

When we understand the above two functions of the mantra, it becomes clear that changing mantras may be not a very good idea. Changing mantras may be considered useful only in special situations, for example when we want to eliminate an undesirable meditation habit, preventing us from achieving a deep meditative state, and the existing mantra is identified as related to that habit.

Also it becomes logical that whatever mantra we use, we should keep it private and not tell it to other people. Otherwise we give others a way to control our subconscious mind by telepathically transmitting to us our own mantra. The best teachers will take time to give people individual mantras rather than teach everyone the same mantra.

Mantras are usually composed from alternative vowel and nasal sounds and may contain several words. The most widely known mantra is “ooohmmm” or “aaaaummm”, but any other similar word will do when we extend vowel and nasal sounds (home, room, zoom, moon, zen, boom etc..). It is best if mantra is an exotic word or a series of words (syllables) not encountered in everyday conversation.

The posture during meditation is also important. The easiest posture is a comfortable sitting position, with your spine straight and erect. If you lay down you will most likely fall asleep. Joining your hands and crossing your legs is desirable, because you make the bio-energy field around you more compact and therefore more intensive. Sitting cross legged is another good position, but requires some fitness and training. Yet another good position, although rarely used today is a squatting position with your arms crossed over you knees, resembling position of a foetus in a womb.

If you have never tried any meditation, try to find a quiet place and try the following technique:
1. take a comfortable meditation posture, one of the postures described above
2. close your eyes and relax all muscles in your body, including the face. A few alternate nostril yoga breaths is very helpful at the beginning of this stage – breathing in through one nostril and breathing out through another, closing nostrils with fingers and altering closed nostril with each breath.
3. disregard any thought as it comes – do not continue a kaleidoscope of thoughts – continue this for 20 minutes or so, maintaining your mind blank. You can use a mental sound “ooooohhmmm” (a mantra) every time you have a thought. Alternatively you may keep counting thoughts, discarding each one as it comes, without analysing it. When you go down to 2 or 3 thoughts in 5 minutes, you meditate successfully.

With practice you should be able to attain a blank mind anytime and anywhere, even in a crowd of people or a stressful situation with the help of your mantra. But do not use the mantra when stressed, until you are positive that you practice meditation long enough and the thought of mantra is firmly associated with your state of a calm mind.

One of many benefits of meditation is that it opens your mind to new ideas. When the bowl is full, trying to pour more water into it just causes an overflow. The same happens with our mind. When it is full of thoughts, there is no room for new ideas.

Meditation is a very effective technique for improving your creativity and problem solving capacity. “Talented” people do it naturally. Artists and poets call it “inspiration”. Many famous people such as Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison were known to have practised various forms of meditation.

Meditation is sometimes described as “listening to the silence between thoughts”. Our effort in meditation is directed towards consciously increasing the periods of such silence.

The ability to meditate is also a necessary condition to receive telepathic transmissions, including those from Higher Self and other people who may try to assist us. Without a true silence in your own thoughts, you cannot listen to thoughts of others.

Before meditation you may wish to define clearly what do you want to learn, what do you want to ask your Higher Self. During the meditation, do not expect an answer (although it is likely that it will come when your mind will be pure) – this is also a thought!

People who practice meditation on the regular basis look and feel typically 10 or even 15 years younger than other people at their age. Giving the mind a regular “break” and allowing our Nature to perform self-repairs everyday makes all the difference. Self-healing and rejuvenation seems to be within reach of everyone who is prepared to learn meditation and meditate regularly everyday

College to corporate

I am a B school student and as all of us know that the B schools host numerous guest lectures for their students which helps them get the insights of the industry and the corporate world throught the visiting guest who have been very good at doing what they do. Eminent personalities come and speak in the guest lecture about various technologies, methodologies, frameworks, designs, procersses, leadership, entrepreneurship and what not. We have had lot many of such lectures but this one by the Chief Administrative Officer and Head HT of Avaya Global Connect Mr. Abhay Valsangkar. He shared with us his experiences and learnings and the way he put forward the things was very practical. I was fortunate enough to present in the guest lecture and taking the advantage of the situation recorded it and am presenting it to you all.
Please listen to it and let us know of your feedback.

Are auras representations of bioelectric fields that can be seen, felt, and controlled? Or are they merely fanciful illusions?

The aura is an electromagnetic field surrounding the human form. People with enhanced psychic ability are able to see the movement and varied colors of the aura. Kirlian photography is a technique that captures the light from the auras of humans and plant life. The aura is also commonly referred to as the eighth chakra.

Auras are like magnets picking up vibrational energies that are floating around everywhere we go. It is important to cleanse your aura frequently to free it of foreign vibrations and negative energies.

he Aura around humans is partly composed from EM (electromagnetic) radiation, spanning from microwave, infrared (IR) to UV light. The low frequency microwave and infrared part of the spectrum (body heat) seems to be related to the low levels of the functioning of our body (DNA structure, metabolism, circulation etc.) whereas high frequency (UV part) is more related to our conscious activity such as thinking, creativity, intentions, sense of humor and emotions. Russian scientists, who seem to be about 3 decades ahead of everyone else in Aura research, make experiments suggesting that our DNA can be altered, by influencing its microwave Aura. The high frequency UV part is very important and most interesting but largely unexplored. And this part can be seen with naked eyes

What’s that? You didn’t even know you had one? That’s not surprising since they are invisible to most people… if they exist at all. Those who do believe in auras say they are electro-magnetic or bio-electric fields that surround all living things. The color or strength of one’s aura, they say, can reflect the person’s personality, mood, or state of health. There’s no scientific proof that auras exist and, by the same token, no proof that they don’t. But belief in them seems to be spreading. The proof most often cited for the existence of auras is Kirlian and aura photography, but the effects, results, and conclusions of these kinds of photography are open to question.

Why do we need to see auras ?
Colors and intensity of the aura, especially around and above the head have VERY special meanings. Watching someone’s aura you can actually see the other person’s thoughts before you hear them expressed verbally. If they do not agree with what this person is saying, you effectively see a lie every time. No one can lie in front of you undetected. We cannot fake the Aura. It shows our True Nature and intentions for everyone to see.

Also, aura is our spiritual signature. When you see a person with a bright, clean aura, you can be SURE that such person is good and spiritually advanced, even if he/she is modest and not aware of it. When you see a person with a gray or dark aura, you may be almost SURE, that such person has unclear intentions, regardless how impressive, eloquent, educated, “good looking” or “well dressed” he/she seems to appear.

It is ESPECIALLY important to check the aura of any religious leader, “spiritual teacher”, “master” or a “guru”. Such a person should have a clearly defined yellow-golden halo around the head. If he/she does not have it, you are MUCH better on your own.

Joining a sect or a religion that is led by incompetent people without good Auras is very dangerous for your consciousness. Where is the danger ? When the time comes to really use the information stored in your consciousness from this lifetime, there may be almost nothing useful there, if you focus your life on following rituals and the flock of other people. In such case it is necessary to re-learn everything from the beginning. Most sect, religion and political leaders have only two things in mind: money and power to control people. And you can SEE it in their Aura for yourself. Imagine changes on Earth if many people can see Auras of their leaders and start choosing them on the basis of their Auras.

By reading Aura it seems possible to diagnose malfunctions in the body (diseases) long before physical symptoms become evident. By consciously controlling your Aura you can actually heal yourself.

However, healing of the physical body is nothing in comparison to what seeing and reading auras can do for our consciousness, spiritual development and our awareness of Nature.

Everyone has an Aura. But most people on Earth have VERY WEAK and dull Auras. This seems to be a direct consequence of their life long materialistic attitude negating and suppressing the development of consciousness, cultivating fear, envy, jealousy and other similar emotions. Such attitude suppresses their True Nature, and their Auras seem to become suppressed too.

When you learn to see Auras, be prepared for a REALLY HARD question: “Can you tell me what my Aura is ?” and the situation when you don’t see any Aura or you see something you don’t want to talk about. One of the best answers I found is “why don’t you learn to see it for yourself ? “. And this is one of the main reasons why I teach people to see auras.

When people realize that their Aura is on display and many people are able to see it, they will watch what they think. And they will try to see and improve their own Aura. In the process they will become better and wiser, being able to recognize intentions of other people. Surely, the entire world will become much better if all people can see and read Auras.

How to see Aura: developing auric sight
In an effort to see the Aura we need to:

  •  Increase the sensitivity of our eyes AND
  •  Extend the range of perceived vibration beyond the visible light.

It seems that we can accomplish the above by:

  •  Using and training our peripheral vision
  •  Increasing exposure
  •  Enhance visual sensation processing in the brain – enhance the communication between left and right hemispheres of the brain

To help you make up your own mind, here are some aura-related websites that can provide you with an abundance of information:

  • At How To See and Read the Aura, Dr. Tom J. Chalko has a fairly large website in which he explains that you can learn to gain conscious control of the human bioenergy field, or aura, through meditation and concentration exercises. And by controlling it, he says, you can then influence the healing processes within your body. In another section, Chalko shows some examples of bioelectrography (which looks a lot like Kirlian photography), which he says records the “intelligent and coherent exchange of electronic information” of which life is made.
  • There are several sites by small companies offering, for a fee, to take a photo of your aura – aura-imaging they call it – with an aura camera. Aura Imaging [link no longer works] is one of them. They say their camera picks up at the Chakra level, and that you should update your photo two or three times a year. That may be because they have to pay for that expensive aura camera, which they also sell for just under $10,000US. These are not Kirlian photographs, however, but produce portraits of the customer surrounded by a rainbow-like cloud. (Real Kirlian photos are made without cameras.) But even Dr. Chalko, in Technology, Tricks, and the Truth, doesn’t put any faith in these cameras, saying that they produce auras even without any person in the photo.
  • Auras and Energy provides a color analysis of an aura, explaining what each color signifies. Then it explains how you can feel an aura by sensitizing your hands, and then cleanse your energy using salt, water, baking soda, and Epsom salt.
  • Why go through all that trouble? Dr. Dee explains why in The Importance of a Healthy Aura, saying that “the easiest way to collect and store power for the use of the individual is through the aura.” This site has information on healing the aura through nutrition or some kind of crystal laser treatment.
  • At SpiritWeb, Robert Bruce provides a lot of detailed information on Auras. He says that the aura “is both an energy field and a reflection of the subtle life energies within the body.” He then explains why most people fail to see the aura, and the steps for enabling yourself to see it.
  • Exercises to See Auras [link no longer working] provides two very detailed steps for detecting the “human energy field,” which consists of seven layers. They say it will take a bit of practice, but that you can do it.
  • For the skeptical point of view, read The Skeptic’s Dictionary entry on auras. It not only provides good background material, but also calls into question the claims that auras reflect health, remarking that there seems to be no consensus, even among believers, as to what colors relate to what state of health. Another site is Human Auras and Energy Fields, which challenges the validity of Kirlian and other forms of aura photography, as well as the claims of those who say they can see or feel auras.

So what do you think? Is the aura merely imaginary? Or is it a real bioelectric field that can be seen, felt, and controlled?

Priorities in life…

Lets imagine this little incidence. A 8 year old going out with his dad for an evening walk. Suddenly the kid gets a glimpse of a blue color car , he asked his dad,” I want to purchase this car”. Dad said , “ No, you already have so many cars, I wont buy you another”. Kid tried to force again , but nothing happened. But the father did not agree. They moved ahead. As they moved further the father saw a CD stall and moved towards it. Purchased 2 audio cd’s and moved on.

Now lets give a little thought on this Impulsive purchase/want. The kid cant say his dad that dad u also have soo many cd’s why do you wanna purchase more.. but indeed he cant say the same. Every age has it’s priorities , with each passing phase , these priority changes … and the past priority minimizes or one can say loses its charm.

For eg. If one wants to take a Cycle in class 6th cant can’t purchase it, be it for any reason, then the need for the want diminishes. Here the Economics Diminishing marginal Utility does not fall in place… Human behavior in too intricate to be understood that easily as the variety of emotions it shows are plethora…

At times you want something , maybe a small desire that is very high in that particular moment, or for a particular time period.. In the above incidence , for the kid the priority became the car , for the father the priority became the CD…

Both ages different and with different priority .. for each of us the priority has the same level of willingness to be fulfilled. Be it for a kid or it for the father.. Want backed with desire and ability to fulfill … Each priority changes as life moves on ..

Basic Instincts

Basic Instinct…..the first thing that comes to our mind is Sharon Stone. But what are Basic Instincts for any life form! And how many basic instincts are there? I tried to find out the answer for the first question on search engines, asked few friends and got various answers. But all agree on one thing that all life form on earth, be it a bacteria or a complex cell form, be it an animal or a plant, a human or a beast, we all are controlled by self-preservation and urge for procreation.

Self preservation can be as simple as the urge to eat food to as complex activity as to form alliances for mutual benefits. In simpler terms, it’s our will to live, to protect ourselves and guard ourselves from getting hurt. As the complexities of organisms increase so does their self preservation activities. From a simple physical self preservation of plants and animals, to much more complex emotional self preservation of humans in addition to their physical self preservation, it can take different forms.

The second basic instinct is that of procreation. Simply put: reproduction. Each and every species on this planet is in a race to bring another of its kind into the world. This instinct is so legendary that I need not spend more bytes on it.

Almost each and everything we do is governed by these two basic instincts.

So, the answer to the second question, that asked how many basic instincts are there, could be two.

Hmmmm, two basic instincts…

but every other animal on this planet has these, so, what happened to us in the timeline, that made us grow into a super species.

Today we almost rule this planet. So, was there any third basic instinct that has lead us towards such complexties, as religion and science.

Its our instinct to seek answers.

The desire to know more.

True Story of a Puppy

05122009It’s a Story of me … I am Pluto … the name given by Children to me ..  Yeah M a dog ….

I opened my eyes for the first time in this world.. and started crying … my mother , who was trying to protect me from all the outsiders who could harm me or take me away from her…. She was wiping me with her warm tongue … again and again…  that feeling was soo blissful…

I slept whole day …  my days went on with milk and my nothing mattered for me … and moreover I did nt knew…

For 10-15 days .. We were with Our mom, the last image I have for her is of a small dog , white in color .. with beautiful black eyes…

The very next thing I realize is I am not alone … there are more… maybe 4 or 5…

I realized I am a puppy… A street puppy…  I was soo scared with this damn world… not just with Humans….  With everything … I used my tiny voice ..tried to raise it as much as I could .. and tried to create my impression.. that I have a say .. a Voice …

But never worked… I could see Humans smiling … kids coming near me with excitement … Wen I was scary .. wen I wanted to be left alone.. I never liked them touching me … and pamerpering me .. soo hard that it could stop my breath for moments…

There were more ..some tried to take me as up in arms as they could and swing me … Bloddy hell as if … I am in a rolarcoaster… I went wacko!…. mad.. butterflies in my stomatch… I cud puke any moment …

Just feel like shouting … Next time u are born .. I will be a human and do the same to you.. then maybe you understand …

Some used to come to me and give me water and milk and some bread.. or soo many leftovers… I was too small to recognize who they were .. as I was more scared.. then Happy.. The only thing I was happy was my mom near me and my food.. which after all was Milk .. inspite of people giving me ‘N’ number of different things…

I was born in one of the Bushes … wherein my mom somehow managed to keep us surviving .. Don’t evn know who was my father… and it hardly makes a difference . M a dog… afterall… Dnt have to take admissions and don’t have to answer socities… In someway or the other .. I am better than you all… humans..

Children and people of all ages used to come near us .. as if we are a miracle.. soo many activities near me .. used to scare me …  the voice that I tried to create out of anger turned out to be fun for Kids and watchers…  M I a toy??. Cant you leave me alone?? M already soo scared in this damn world… Y don’t u guys understand ..

If u bloddy have the guts … Adopt me … huh! Naah u cant do that …

U live in a hypocrisy … u want sumthing .. but don’t wanna do it .. coz u fear.. people .. surroundings… I would never be like you wen I grow up… I wud do what I want …

2 kids picked up my 2 brothers who were beautiful than me … luckily adopted them… I hope they have a happy family now….

Very next day … my mum went away … where I dunoo.. dat was the last day we saw her …. She left us .. How cud she … how can a mother go ???….. but she went away ….or shes dead ..dunoo..  I was left with one of my bro .. dat sit …

The feeling without the … the one who loves you and cares for you is like .. you are alive but your body  aint working…  What do we do now??… we tried to hide in hideouts .. never used to come out.. someone managed in this cold …..

Now without mum this was  our first night..she used to protect us from everything and also cold… now .. this was wen we realized wht is cold … we started feeling cold.. this was a new feeling for us … we tried to hug each other to stay warm and cozy ..  it somehow worked…

Maybe God has made us like that … given us the skills to live in this cruel harsh world… One fighting the battle alone.. one losing it … it cud be anyway ..

I tried to live with my life… with my bro.. then one day ..the nightmare came… We were in one of our hideouts… A kid left us some food .. so we were busy eating that … Saw a person coming with a cycle near us …  we left the food immediately and tried to get into the hideout wherein No one can come…

But I was lucky to get into it and my bro was caught… the guy took him away …  I was only screaming and shouting … and was helpless. My eyes were teary , my only hope to live was going and I cud not do anything about it..

Separated from my mother… my brother my sisters… why Do I live… Y did he leave me .. He could have taken me too…

I cried as much as I Cud… for hours… the people kept on coming and looking at me by peeking into the whole… Sympathizing  …with me…  laughing at me … and I was helpless.. crying and crying and getting more petrified .. with each one coming near me …

Y do you all do this? How will u feel if I take ur new born brother away from you?. Ever imaged this ? If ma Dog… Does that mean I Don’t feel… Humans are soo indifferent..  only care about what they want … and nothing else.. selfish Morons…

Now m alone .. in this damn cruel world… one day someone will come and eat me or someone will take me home.. or I will always be one entertainment channel for the colony people or kids…

Dedicated to Babes’ Pups…

Happiness …I Searched, met , to be Conquered now.. is Happiness…. Why do we search for it… IS it that tought to be happy … To attain this feeling… to have some peace in mind? Why do we have to struggle a lot???

Happiness is one element everyone wants in life..Maybe we all don’t agree on ‘what it is’ and ‘ how can it be attained’ but our aims are same , just to reach it… Happiness is a personal matter , no matter what bad your past circumstances have been , no matter how your present conditions are , happiness is possible , you just have to get the right mindset… Most of us feel that those who have power, money and fame are the only people to be happy.. that ain’t the truth my friend…

Like a small going school boy thinks he will be happy if his Dad buys him a sports cycle. A teenage girl thinks she will be happy if she will have a husband like Brad Pitt!. A father thinks he will be happy when his kids star working. But that’s not true, it’s a false idea. Happiness is not a single issue concept.

Being humans , we say , happiness depends on situations that come in our life’s…but we forget that our reaction in those situations … makes the whole situation. How many of us have heard the theory of 90/10.

“ Lets visualize , a family at a morning breakfast table , Sitting together . Father , Mother in hurry to go to office, 8 year old kid doing the breakfast as well. Suddenly the kid spills the milk, some milk on dads shirt. , Now how this person reacted , lets view it ,

A) The dad gets up , shouts on the kid , shouts on the mother , changes his Shirt, keeps on mumbling, wife’ has a bad mood now and so has the kid. Wife goes to offc without any greetings. Dad drops kid to school and kid does not say bye even. The whole day the whole family has a bad mood.

B) The dad gets up in a bad mood ,but with a strict voice tells the kid to take care from next time when he is holding a glass and be cautious. Changes his shirt, wife greets and bids farewell. Drops kids to school with a sweet kiss on this cheek. Goes to office.

I am sure , you can yourself see, how we react to situations makes up the whole scenario. 90 percent is on our reactions , 10 percent is situation. The more balanced we react the better the situation gets.

Many times I have heard people saying ,” I want to be happy , but I cant be… Don’t know why…”.here comes an ego problem ….We already have soo many problems in our lyf’s which we cant control and on top of it…we do the most foolish act by augmenting more problems to it…we just need to bring those problem to surface and need to analyze , whats real and whts fake… Happiness is from within. If we decide to be happy , we will be , it is an internal force, and all great things start from inside , not outside.. Happiness is all about knowing the real you and accepting it. It’s about asking these questions to yourself… Who are you?, what are you capable of ? Are you deceiving yourself?. You have to answer yourself. No one else.

2 people looking from the same window , one saw the dust , other saw stars.. d difference is Vast!.

Many times our childhood fears cast a shadow on our personalities, but one must not run away from it… For example , a child who won a medal at school for cricket , rushes home to share his victory , but is treated with indifference will grow up being afraid of happiness. Many times we adapt an unconscious behavior , a defensive attitude ,towards happiness… as if we resist to open up and share… with oneself. The more we share our dreams , our inner desires with ourself , the more easy it is for us to be happy, to be candid with ourself. We must now worry what others are thinking abt us , as they are thinking the same t the time. What we think abt them!!!.

Emotional maturity is needed and is essential for happiness.. now by saying that I mean , knowing how to divert your energy . For example you had a bad day at office or at home , you feel like shouting , screaming , throwing things , etc, then better go to a videogame parlor , play a game , go for jogging , go for playing tennis or badminton , anything that wud divert ur mind and energy ,or maybe blogging . Utilizing your negative energy into a positive manner. That judges your emotional sensibility.

Life .. has so many moods..myraid colors… Laughter brings along soo many moments of warmth. Insecurity brings along moments of cold by giving sensations at heart. Anger brings along heat and sorry brings along sweetness. Witticism brings along cheerful smiles and seriousness brings along beautiful tears. It’ endless, one can keep on writing about the colors of life…

Reminiscing about the past, each one of us do that. Thinking about moments we have treasured in our lyf’s with our family , friends & loved one’s. Moments filled with sensual gratification. Sensual gratification is like ….

Using of our senses of the basic things that fills us with moments of happiness… How many of us.. now feel the wind talking, how many of us listen to birds chirping, how many of us take time out close our eyes and feel whats inside. How many of us want to listen to the real inner voice. Using our own senses for the basic things in lyf, can fill us with immense pleasure.

As if one morning you get up and see this little dewdrop in this winder … Looking at the tiny glistering dewdrop, which is nesteling it’s weary head against the velvet smoothness. The crimson color , basking in the sun…. looks amazig. We need to Cherish life , each moment , spread happiness, cheerfulness, good thoughts , do good deeds, not for anyone else , but for yourself.

It’s said somewhere that Happiness is a shy bird , dnt hunt for it , it would fly , so just keep a trap for it.

Always Remember “ Today is a last day of a part of your life”

God Bless You!

PARENTS…what do they want from children?

This was narrated at a Seminar recently on Human Relations

Venkatesh Balasubramaniam (who works for IIT) describes how his gesture of booking an air ticket for his father, his maiden
flight, brought forth a rush of emotions and made him (Venkatesh) realize that how much we all take for granted when it comes to our parents.

My parents left for our native place on Thursday and we went to the airport to see them off. In fact, my father had never traveled by air before, so I just took this opportunity to make him experience the same. In spite of being asked to book tickets by train, I got them tickets on Jet Airways.
The moment I handed over the tickets to him, he was surprised to see that I had booked them by air. The excitement was very apparent on his face, waiting for the time of travel. Just like a school boy, he was preparing himself on that day and we all went to the airport, right from using the trolley for his luggage, the baggage check-in and asking for a window seat and waiting restlessly for the security check-in to happen. He was thoroughly enjoying himself and I, too, was overcome with joy watching him experience all these things.

As they were about to go in for the security check-in, he walked up to me with tears in his eyes and thanked me. He became very emotional and it was not as if I had done something great but the fact that this meant a great deal to him. When he said thanks, I told him there was no need to thank me. But later, thinking about the entire incident, I looked back at my life.
As a child, how many dreams our parents have made come true. Without understanding the financial situation, we ask for cricket bats, dresses, toys, outings, etc. Irrespective of their affordability, they have catered to all our needs. Did we ever think about the sacrifices they had to make to accommodate many of our wishes? Did we ever say thanks for all that they have done for us?
Same way, today when it comes to our children, we always think that we should put them in a good school. Regardless of the amount of donation, we will ensure that we will have t give the child the best, theme parks, toys, etc. But we tend to forget that our parents have sacrificed a lot for our sake to see us happy, so it is our responsibility to ensure that their dreams are realized and what they failed to see when they were young. It is our responsibility to ensure that they experience all those and their life is complete.

Many times, when my parents had asked me some questions, I have actually answered back without patience. When my daughter asks me something, I have been very polite in answering. Now I realize how they would have felt at those moments. Let us realize that old age is a second childhood and just as we take care of our children, the same attention and same care needs to be given to our parents and elders. Quality time and politely answering them with out making them wait is important. Now I realize that I must look at their eyes and answer them pleasantly and pretend to be reading papers and answer in mono syllables. Rather than my dad saying thank you to me, I would want to say sorry for making him wait so long for this small dream. I do realize how much he has sacrificed for my sake and I will do my best to give the best possible attention to all their wishes.

Just because they are old does not mean that they will have to give up everything and keep sacrificing for their grandchildren also. They have wishes, too.

Take care of your parents. THEY ARE PRECIOUS.
